On this week’s episode….

We talk a look back at Benfica’s win against Estoril, a game that solidified the team’s consistency, and that could very well have been the momentum builder the team has been working towards. We discuss Vitoria’s recent game reads, and his key substitutions.

Next we discuss Benfica’s game against lower tier Oriental, in a game in which Rui Vitoria gave playing time to some of the less used players, as well as promoting the return of Nelson Semedo, who missed most of the first half of the season because of injury.

Lastly we look ahead to Benfica’s upcoming game against Arouca who are one of 3 teams that have taken all 3 points away from Benfica domestically. Twitter questions

  1. Winning against Estoril and getting closer to Sporting CP was definitely a mental and confidence boost.

Let’s hope Benfica capitalizes on that boost for the rest of the season and keeps pressuring and pursuing Sporting (and maybe overtake them) until the Alvalade derby where the two teams will clash in an unseen (for many years now) battle for the first place!

    Carrega Benfica!
