Benfica's Eliseu celebrates his goal against Moreirense during their Portuguese Premier League soccer match at Luz stadium in LisbonIn this week’s episode….

Benfica hosted Moreirense and came back from a 0-1 deficit to get the 3 points with a 3-1 final result.We look back at Benfica’s first half, Eliseu’s important goal, and JJ’s decision to make a very tactical substitution on the 35th minute. Steve breaks down the change and explains how it affected 3 different areas.

On the final segment, we look ahead to our away game versus Estoril this weekend, where the “Canarinhos” and their experienced coach – Jose  Couceiro, will be looking to stop Benfica. The game also takes on a different importance as porto and Sporting will play each other, and Benfica will have a chance to add more points two their current on either team.

  1. Another great podcast gentlemen.. I am with Afredo and Steve on the Ola John thing.. Gaitan likes to cut through to the middle.. only makes since since he shoots better from there also.

    But like you gentlemen said, JJ is not one to listen.

    Anyways Benfica is tops.. best start to a season in 11+ years so.. keep on chugging.
