An opportune win by Benfica against an Atletico Madrid who hadn’t lost at home in European competitions in a very long time. Benfica also broke their losing streak against Spanish teams, a streak that started back in 1982. We discuss the game, and the team’s “new” approach under Rui Vitoria.
In the second segment, with Benfica’s weekend game being postponed due to fog in Madeira, we briefly discuss Nelson Semedo’s call up to the national team, and take your twitter questions.
